Well, I was hoping this would not happen but information technology did. I followed all the instructions as shown here https://www.youtube.com/watch?five=0Huex38Yrh0 (of form with my motherboard's BIOS download) and once I select the file it just is frozen, no mouse movement, but stuck. What are my options now?

Do I power information technology downwards or is that a bad idea, should I only expect it out instead? Information technology seems like this happened to this guy http://world wide web.overclock.net/t/1400718/msi-z87-g45-bios-freezes-when-updating but his BIOS did not decadent and then I hope mine is fine.

I had to update the BIOS considering I was having a lot of bug with the computer not restarting etc. etc. and the BIOS is version 6.1 and the latest is 6.6.

Alright Powering it down worked fine when I rebooted. Phew never trying that again.

I've had this happen earlier on my MSI board. I even spoke with tech back up about information technology. I ended up powering down, and it booted fine. I did have to reinstall a lower version and go back up to the latest to fully correct some odd issues. I concluded up figuring out information technology was my USB keyboard (seriously), so I accept to unplug the USB keyboard and use a PS2 keyboard for the BIOS updates.

If you lot search yous will find other instances of certain USB keyboards interfering with BIOS updates. Heck when I starting time got my mechanical keyboard my PC wouldn't kicking and cleared the CMOS. I had to do a BIOS update just to brand my Z97 board work with my USB keyboard.

Even then it was a couple updates before I could actually change options in the BIOS from USB and take them actually save.
